Black Friday Finds

So, my Mom and I spent 5 hours in Joann Fabrics and went crazy. We only went in for a couple of things and came out with more than anyone else. I think we were at the cutting table for at least an hour. We found a bunch of really cute flannel that we will be making into blankets and burp cloths. Look for them soon. They will be in a set all ready for gift giving.

Here is the Amy Butler Fabric I got. I am loving all of it and have a hard time choosing which ones I want first. Let me know if you want something made from the fabrics you see.
This is some fabric of fur that I fell in love with. I am excited to make a blanket out of it and see how it turned out. It's hard trying to find good boy fabric so I hope this will make up for it somehow.

New Fabric - Amy Butler

This is the new fabric that I just bought. I got it at the local store and was so excited to bring it home. Too bad I can't go crazy buying all the new fabric up. So cute. I can get any of the new fabric from that store so if you want an item made with it just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Infant Bracelets

A friend of mine just blessed her baby and wanted a bracelet to go with the outfit. I made up four bracelets that she could choose from and here they are. #1 is a very simple design and is $8. #2 doesn't have crystals but does have the tiger's eye beads. That one is $10. #3-4 have crystals and the pearl beads. Those are both $12.

They all turned out so pretty. All of these bracelets are the infant size which is 4" but the can be made bigger and an extender chain can be added.

How To Make A Christmas Star

I have always wanted to know how to make this star. I'm so excited to get started.

Here is my first one. I did it with Amy Butler paper and put a rhinestone in the middle. It turned out so cute. What a nice addition it will be to my tree this year.

Giveaway

GIVEAWAY is Closed!!

On Etsy there is this thing called PIF which means Pay It Forward. Basically people list items that they want to sell for almost nothing. Usually the buyer only has to pay the listing price ($.20) and shipping. Then they are asked to do something nice for someone else or list an item the same way.

I have bought a couple of PIF items so I am doing my part as well. I am going to have a giveaway. This flower is put on a ribbon lined alligator clip. It can be used in a girl's hair, headband, or hat.

To participate I only ask one thing. Please go to my store at pebblesandpoppys.etsy.com and let me know what you like or think I should do differently with my store. Also what you would like to see me sell. Put your suggestions as a comment and your email if I don't have it. I will have a drawing on the 17th to see who will get it.

If you would like to order an item (or items) and don't want to go through Etsy just email me at pebandpop@yahoo.com. If you live in the area you can arrange to pick up your order and bypass shipping.

Go to fabricsupplies.etsy.com to see what kind of fabric you like. I can get anything from there and make a variety of things. Suggestions: nursing cover, burp cloths, diaper clutch, crayon roll, iron-on onesies, blankets, etc...

Also, everything in the store will be 10% off for the Thanksgiving holiday. Check out what we have and see what you might want that is already for sale.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Halloween Bag

Here is a bag that I made in less than an hour. Of course it's not perfect but it turned out pretty cute for what it was made for. I was going to use different material for the handles but I was running out of time. Later I may change that.

I used two pieces of material and some interfacing to do this bag. Pretty easy. As you can tell I have a lot of this fabric. I think it's cute.

I had to add a picture of my cute Tinker Bell fairy. She had a blast going Trick or Treating and totes the bag around everywhere. She uses it as her purse now.
