Crepe Paper Roses

Can I tell you that I am in love with these? I want to make a ton of them. First I have to master the crepe paper rose. Aren't they spectacular? Here are the three places I found these.
This came from Homespun With Heart. She also has a link to see a video on how to make them. Very nice to actually see someone do it.

This was from House of Smiths. She has a tutorial.
This cute wreath came from A Glimpse Inside. She also has a tutorial.
Love love love!!!

Fabric Flower

I was just playing around with this fabric and figured that it might look cute if I kept on going with it. I was SO right. It turned out really good and fluffy. I don't even need to put something in the middle because it fluffs up around it. I find it kind of distracting if there is something in there.

Enjoy!

I Heart Faces - Photo Challenge Vroom Vroom

So Old Sacramento hosted Gold Rush Days and we went down to mill around and take pictures of things. I took a picture of this and tried to make it look old fashioned. I'm still learning.
This is my entry in the Vroom Vroom Photo Challenge. I kept on debating which to use for the challenge. This one or the last picture in this post.
Here are a few other things I was messing with.
I love how rustic this picture looks. The ISO was on 1600 and it looks grainy like it was in an old picture. This was on the train that we took. The people in front of us were dressed up in period pieces. The kids were adorable.

Satin Ribbon Flowers

Some flowers I made for a friend. They turned out so cute. I love the colors she chose. I know that she will use them as a broach but they look good as an accent on purses and other things.
Here is where I got the idea! V and Co.

Yes I made the purse as well. Isn't it so cute? The inside has a darker teal fabric. I love the colors together.
